This Plan of the City of New York, as originally surveyed in 1789, was published in D. T. Valentine’s Manual in 1857. This plan includes a street plan extending from the Battery to the farms north of Grand Street, where the farm landowners are identified. In the upper left corner is a list of references for various types of building in the area. The framing is done to conservation standards with a museum mat and black and gold beaded frame.
